Granite North - Kitchen Entry Conversion

A kitchen remodel incorporated design ideas that naturally incorporated the adjacent “catch-all” room to take the opportunity to organize flow and function of this 50’s home.

Removing the Kitchen side entry allowed for a kitchen phone nook and pushed the side entry into the next room creating a true mudroom nook combined with an office alcove. The simple alteration of opening the kitchen space to the dining room brought flow and light throughout the home.

A stacked washer/dryer and counter was created under the stairs to conserve much needed space in this centralized hub to the rest of the home. The combination of updating and organizing all of these task oriented spaces greatly increased the ease and comfort and daily patterns of living for the family of this home.
