Wiley Guest House
This guest house utilized basic form and structure yet integrates with the industrial aesthetic of the main residence/stage design shop. Historically, the property and main home was once a pear storage facility for nearby orchards. The client requested the simple form with a few “follies” such as a cantilevered main bathroom with corrugated metal siding, a floor plan that reflects whimsical angles, and 2 story atrium – all resulting to express of the client’s creativity and profession as a stage set designer.
